Sergio began illustrating covers for books when he

came right out of Parsons School of Design in 1982.

Semi-retired and living in the Bay Area, he has worked 

as an illustrator of young adult books for a number of

children publishers. A list that includes American Girl

Mystery Novels, The Karate Club by Puffin Books,

Jennie McGrady Mystery Series by Bethany House, and

other kids books as well as hundreds of western novels for

Penguin Books. He's authored and illustrated a children's

picture book, "Welcome." It can be viewed here on his website.

Other clients have included, Harper Collins Publishers,

Avon Books, Random House, Scholastic Books and Catstudio.

Most of his illustrations are created using and combining

traditional media with contemporary apps, with a decided

preference for working in watercolors presently.
